We have been really, really busy over the last couple of years. This has kept us from keeping up on our blog or social media. While we don't have any dedicated people to help, we are committed to telling our story and telling you what we are all about.

In an effort to get this effort ignited, we are going back to our roots. Operation Fistula started as OperationOF back in March 2008. In the first six months, we blogged our faces off, writing epic posts that described how the venture came alive.

Starting with our very first blog entry, we are going to throw-back every Thursday, posting a current excerpt from the past. At the same time, we will update the Operation Fistula blog archive with the original post.

The little excerpt from that first post is the last line of the letter I wrote on my last day of private sector work:
